APPRENTICE ELECTRICIAN COMMERCIAL
We are looking for a full-time, entry-level Electrician to work as an Apprentice with the Fiske Electric team on a wide variety of electrical installation and maintenance projects. Our apprentices work closely with the Journeymen and Wiremen to begin their careers with hands-on experience in installing electrical gear, panels, conduit, racks, cable and more, in commercial building settings. They’ll also gain exposure to blueprint reading, layout, load calculations, voltage drop and Ohm’s Law.
Apprentice Electricians are expected to maintain Fiske Electric’s high standards for safety, efficiency and quality.

Commercial Apprentice Electricians may also gain some exposure to residential projects

After two years of experience, an Apprentice may take the test to obtain a Wireman’s license (residential projects)

A Wireman can work towards a Journeyman’s license, requiring four years of experience and 288 hours of school (agricultural, industrial, commercial and service projects)
